WATCH: Marvin Harrison Jr. Makes Insane Catch, But Ohio State Buckeyes Trail Michigan Wolverines at Halftime

Ohio State Buckeyes star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. might have just made the catch of the year against the Michigan Wolverines, but his team trails at the half

Ohio State Buckeyes star Marvin Harrison Jr. might have just made the catch of the year against the Michigan Wolverines.

With his team trailing 14-10 late in the second quarter of the biggest game of the college football season, Harrison Jr. made an insane one-handed, 44-yard catch down the field from QB Kyle McCord to put the Buckeyes in position for a late field goal.

The catch, was the biggest play of the game thus far for either team, in what has been a back-and-forth affair through two quarters.

Not only was it a one-handed catch by Harrison, but the play also came with a Michigan defensive back draped all over him, resulting in a flag for pass interference. That penalty would be declined.

Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, they were unable to turn that big play into points, with Ryan Day electing to stay conservative and run the clock down for a field goal attempt.

That field goal would ultimately sail wide left, leaving the score at 14-10 in favor of the Wolverines.

The good news for the Buckeyes is that after a slow start, it appears that the offense has found its footing, with big plays coming on back-to-back drives.

After what looked to be a defensive battle in the first half, the Buckeyes ended the second quarter on a tear, with McCord throwing for 159 yards and a score.

The bad news, however, is that the missed point could end up costing them big-time, with the Wolverines set to receive the second-half kickoff.
