WATCH: Reversed Penn State Nittany Lions TD Leads to Miyan Williams Score, Ohio State Buckeyes Lead

A major momentum swing just went in the Ohio State Buckeyes' favor vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions

The Ohio State Buckeyes just got a major momentum swing in their favor against the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon.

With the game deadlocked at 3-3 midway through the first quarter, the Buckeyes offense looked to be on the move, and getting into scoring position for the second time on the afternoon.

However, the Nittany Lions were ready to pounce, forcing a Kyle McCord fumble and taking it all the way back the other way for a touchdown, seemingly putting them up on top, and giving them all of the momentum.

Unfortunately for the Nittany Lions, there was a defensive holding penalty called on the play, allowing Ohio State to keep possession, and avoid disaster.

And that is when the Buckeyes would seize their own opportunity, hitting Marvin Harrison Jr. at the five-yard line on an extremely impressive grab by the Ohio State star.

Shortly after that, the Buckeyes cashed it in, with Miyan Williams rushing the ball into the end zone for the score, giving the Buckeyes a 10-3 lead, and completing the 14-point swing.

With TreVeyon Henderson suited up but out for the game so far, Williams has stepped up in a huge way for the Buckeyes, rushing 12 times for 50 yards and the score.

Henderson has been out since the Buckeyes 17-14 win over Notre Dame earlier this season with an undisclosed injury.

Williams, on the other hand, has been injured as well and has been used sparingly over the last few weeks, rushing for 96 yards on 25 carries with two scores through the first six games.

Both scores came in the season opener vs. Indiana.
