Former Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Zach Harrison tweaked his hamstring which held him out of workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine Thursday, according to NFL Network's broadcast.

This comes after posting insane physical measurables Thursday, including the longest arms of any defensive lineman in the combine since 2014. This helped him defend 11 passes in the last three years of his Buckeye career.

Harrison said Wednesday that he was excited to impress the scouts but was unable to put his talents on display being held out due to the injury.

“I'm so excited about the player that I am today, and knowing that I have so much to work on and being in this position where I’m at right now, just being at the combine and being one of the top guys of the defensive line class, and knowing I have so much room to improve," Harrison said Wednesday during media sessions. "And I hope that I get to tap into that.”

In his 46-game Ohio State tenure, Harrison recorded 13 sacks, and 25.5 tackles for loss, while forcing three fumbles. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2022.

The projected third-round pick will have an opportunity to show off his speed, athleticism, and pass rush fundamentals in front of NFL scouts at Ohio State's Pro Day in three weeks ahead of April's draft.
