Marvin Harrison & Host of Buckeyes to Help C.J. Stroud at Pro Day

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day revealed that several underclassmen will workout with C.J. Stroud on Pro Day Wednesday.
In this story:

As is common in the past, the Ohio State Buckeyes will have a few underclassmen work out during their Pro Day on Wednesday.

"I know at receiver, I am pretty sure that Marvin [Harrison Jr.], Xavier [Johnson], and Jayden Ballard is going to work out, I don't know all of them, but I am pretty sure those three are going to help with C.J [Stroud]," Ryan Day revealed during his Tuesday afternoon press conference.

"What we've done in the past where I believe Garrett and Chris helped, maybe even Jackson, helped with Justin a couple of years ago, and then C.J. helped with the guys last year, and maybe even Cade [Stover] may be catching some passes for him," Day said.

"But I think it allows them to get an opportunity to feel what that's like, and like Clay was mentioning, sometimes it can be just kind of awkward out there, running routes and catching, but just relaxing and getting a feel for it so when they do it next year it won't be the first time."

After Stroud wowed those in attendance at the NFL Combine with his timing and accuracy in the on-field throwing drills, shortly after the Combine, the trade between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears saw the No. 1 pick change hands had many people speculating that Stroud is potentially the top candidate on the board in Charlotte.

Stroud will now have another opportunity to impress scouts in Columbus with receivers he already shares familiarity with.
