Ohio State forward Justice Sueing becomes the second Buckeye to declare for the 2023 NBA Draft, he announced on Twitter Wednesday.

Sueing joined forward Brice Sensabaugh as an NBA Draft hopeful, posting a "thank you" message to God, his coaches, teammates and family. Sueing will forego his final year of eligibility that he earned because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last season, Sueing returned to the lineup after being limited to just two games in 2021 with an abdominal injury.

He averaged 12.3 points per game on 42 percent shooting from the field in 2022, notching 5.2 rebounds per contest and a career-high 64 assists.

In his home state of Hawaii, the Honolulu native dropped a career-high 33 points on 12-for-19 from the field in an 80-73 win against Texas Tech in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.

Sueing transferred to Ohio State after two seasons at California where he averaged 14.1 points per game on 43 percent shooting. He led the Golden Bears in scoring his sophomore season.

His transfer in 2019 was prior to the one-time transfer rule which grants immediate eligibility to athletes, as he had to sit out for a year. During that year, he suffered a foot injury in January 2020.

In his Buckeyes debut Nov. 25, 2020, he dropped 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting, as part of a season in which he averaged 10.7 points in 31 games.

Head coach Chris Holtmann said March 27 that he "loved" how Sueing was playing.

He closed his collegiate career with seven-consecutive games in double figures, including a double-double against Illinois Feb. 26 before helping Ohio State make a run to the semifinal round of the Big Ten Tournament.
