LeBron James 'Proud' of Bronny James' McDonald's All-American Game Bid
Ba da ba ba ba, LeBron's lovin' it.
Bronny James was presented with his McDonald's All-American Game jersey Monday at Sierra Canyon High School, and his father, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, said his son's accomplishment was "pretty cool."
"It's always good to see the kids accomplish a dream of theirs," LeBron James said. "For myself and Savannah and Bryce, we're very proud of Bronny for all of the things that he's done and today's another one of those moments."
The No. 34 recruit and eighth-best combo guard, according to 247Sports, will play in the McDonald's All-American Game March 28 in Houston against the country's top high school seniors.
The class of 2023 prospect has yet to commit to where he wants to play his college ball at for next season butย narrowed his options down to Ohio State, Oregon and USC on Jan. 21.
Ohio State'sย recruiting class currently ranks sixth in the country with Taison Chatman, Scotty Middleton, Devin Royal and Austin Parks already signed. If Bronny James commits and signs, it would be the second-straight recruiting class that the Buckeyes had at least four four-stars.ย
LeBron James tweeted on March 7 that Bronny James was "definitely better than some of these cats I've been watching on league pass."
He said he "loves" where Bronny James is at "in his journey."
"He wants to continue to do great things on the floor, but greater things off the floor as a young man so that's what we're more proud about," LeBron James said.
