In what might be one of the stranger collaborations involving Ohio State Buckeyes athletics in recent memory, Ohio State's university bookstore is now officially selling Lululemon-branded Buckeyes merchandise.

The collab was announced back in June, with the release date set for Saturday morning at 8 a.m. when the bookstore opened. By three hours before, however, a line of eager students wrapping around the building had already formed.

"We're thrilled to welcome Lululemon as an officially licensed Ohio State merchandise partner," the athletic department said in a post on the social media platform LinkedIn.

Given by the initial turnout, the athletics department was not the only party pleased with the collaboration. Social media posts highlights different clothing items and apparel quickly surfaced on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, adding to the overall hype surrounding the merchandise.

"Helping our collective be well in every aspect of their lives - physically, mentally, and socially - is at the core of how we create our products and experiences," Lululemon says on its website. "We are constantly looking for new ways to support our guests, our collective, and our planet."

Students can purchase products ranging from leggings, shirts, fanny packs, bags and even hoodies — all featuring a variation of the Buckeyes' branding and school colors.
