Lebron James Calls Buckeyes Marvin Harrison Jr., 'The Absolute Best'

Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., is considered one of the top players potentially available in the 2024 NFL Draft.
In this story:

Lebron James may not have a member of his family attending Ohio State this fall, as his son and formerly highly-touted basketball recruit Bronny James chose the USC Trojans over the Buckeyes this past May, that doesn't mean he'll stop rooting for his former in-state school.

James, an Akron, Ohio native, never did go to college. Instead, he went straight from the high school ranks to the NBA. Yet, that lack of a college affiliation hasn't stopped him from voicing his support for what many believe would've been his school if he went to college, Ohio State.

James took to his Instagram story recently to share a post of Buckeyes star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Responding to the post, which asked the question of whether the Buckeye star was the "best receiver in college football," James gave his answer, and one fan will certainly agree with.

"The absolute best," James wrote on Instagram about Harrison.

James isn't alone in his take that Harrison is the best receiver in college football this season, and compared to others, the current Los Angeles Laker's take on the Buckeye hasn't gone far enough. Former Ohio State head coach and current Fox Sports analyst Urban Meyer has said that Harrison is "knocking on the door" of Cris Carter for his title of being the greatest receiver of all-time while also naming him his Heisman Trophy favorite.

Coming off a season where Harrison led the Buckeyes in receiving, recording 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns, it doesn't seem far-fetched that he could become just the fourth receiver to win the Heisman.
