Ohio State, Michigan OL Recruits Spar on Twitter

Despite not being an Ohio native, Ohio State Buckeyes offensive linemen commit Ian Moore understands what it means to hate the Michigan Wolverines.
In this story:

Ohio State Buckeyes offensive lineman class of 2024 commit Ian Moore was at the forefront of some recruiting beef on Twitter Tuesday, going back and forth with multiple Michigan Wolverines offensive linemen on the app.

It all started when Moore quote tweeted a tweet from On3's Hayes Fawcett that was outlining how the two rivals have "arguably the best" offensive line classes in the class of 2024.

"C'mon now. Hate to start beef but two of those dudes are salty that they didn't get OSU offers and the other two just didn't get them," Moore said in a now-deleted tweet. "I've been to camps with everybody on that list except Marc (Marc's a dog though) and the Blake kid and I can tell you the Bucks are on top."

Then Michigan Wolverines offensive lineman commit Ben Roebuck spoke his mind with a tweet.

"Always comes down to not having that offer," Roebuck said. "Michigan’s got the better offensive line and better coaches. Seems like I wasn’t missing out on much… Go blue."

Moore rifled back on the attack in a now-deleted tweet, replying with a screenshot from an article that said Roebuck receiving an offer from Ohio State would be a "life highlight."

Moore wasn't done with his attacks on Michigan, though.

Michigan offensive lineman commit Luke Hamilton tweeted for three-star uncommitted class of 2024 athlete Boo Carter to "make the move happen" followed by yellow "M" emojis — which is often used by Michigan players and the Wolverines' social media accounts.

Carter asked if Hamilton should "join the M family" to which Moore said in a now-deleted quote tweet, "Come to a real program that will actually develop you."

Offensive coordinator Brian Hartline said on Barstool Sports' "Bussin With the Boys" that the Wolverines winning is good for the rivalry because he loves "everyone hating everybody."

It's safe to say that hatred between Ohio State and Michigan has trickled down to the class of 2024.
