Ohio State Slotted Highly in PFF's Way-Too-Early 2023 Rankings
No C.J. Stroud? No problem.
The Ohio State Buckeyes checked in at No. 3 in Pro Football Focus' way-too-early top 25 despite a new signal-caller being under center next season.
Whether it is Kyle McCord or Devin Brown taking snaps in 2023, one thing remains: they'll have two of the best pass-catching options at their disposal in wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka.
Ohio State will return most of its defensive starters, but will have a new-look offensive line.
Tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones and center Luke Wypler all declared for the NFL Draft, leaving just guards Donovan Jackson and Matthew Jones as the only returning pieces for Justin Frye's unit.
Those who plug in the missing holes on the line will be blocking for a loaded running back room which runs five deep. TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams, Evan Pryor, Dallan Hayden and Chip Trayanum all plan to return for the 2023 season.
Ohio State's spring game will give fans their first look at the Buckeyes April 15 ahead of their season opener against the Indiana Hoosiers Sept. 2.
