Weather Forces Changes to Oklahoma's Weekend Softball Plans

The Sooners were scheduled to play three games over two days, but a reduction in this weekend's Miami Invitational has caused significant alterations.

Inclement weather has forced major schedule changes to this weekend's Miami Invitational in Oxford, OH.

No. 1-ranked Oklahoma traveled to Ohio Friday expecting to play two games Saturday and one Sunday.

But the Sooners learned shortly after stepping off their charter flight that impending weather has forced a reduction to this weekend's schedule

Instead of two days, the event will be staged on Saturday only.

And the Sooners, instead of three games, will play just twice: 3 p.m. CT against Louisville, and 6 p.m. CT against the host RedHawks.

Miami and Oakland open the event with a 12 p.m. CT game on Saturday.

All games are scheduled to be broadcast on YouTube.
