How to Watch Oklahoma vs. Iowa State

The No. 14-ranked Sooners hope to continue their perfect start to the season against Iowa State in Norman ahead of October's Red River Rivalry.
In this story:

Oklahoma has one last hurdle to clear to walk into the Cotton Bowl unblemished to start October.

The No. 14-ranked Sooners dispatched of the Cincinnati Bearcats 20-6 at Nippert Stadium to open Big 12 play, but now OU (4-0 overall, 1-0 Big 12) will turn its attention to hosting the Iowa State Cyclones (2-2, 1-0).

Fresh off a 34-27 victory over Oklahoma State, Matt Campbell’s Cyclones are trying to hold things together after a rocky start to 2023.

Iowa State failed to bounce back from its yearly loss to Iowa, falling 10-7 to Ohio to close non-conference play.

In Cincinnati, Oklahoma’s defense continued to pass the eye test, stifling the Bearcats on third and fourth downs and spoil the party at Nippert Stadium.

Last year, Iowa State was one of the few teams the Sooners handled in Big 12 play, beating the Cyclones 27-13 in Ames as one of OU’s three conference victories.
