How to Watch Oklahoma vs. Tulsa

The No. 19-ranked Sooners will look to close out their non-conference slate a perfect 3-0 with a victory over Tulsa in the first road game of the season.

For the first time in 2023, Oklahoma is hitting the road.

The No. 19-ranked Sooners (2-0) won’t have to travel far, however, as they’ll make a quick trip up the Turner Turnpike to battle the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-1).

SMU likely posed the biggest test in OU’s non-conference slate that will wrap up in Tulsa, as Oklahoma took care of business 28-11 against the Mustangs.

Brent Venables’ defense held the SMU offense to just one touchdown despite giving up 21 first downs, clamping up in the red zone when the pressure was on.

But while the defense found success, the Sooner offense sputtered. Oklahoma needed a pair of crucial touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to ice the game.

The Golden Hurricane limp into the week on the heels of a 43-10 defeat to No. 8 Washington, and former OU offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson will hope to get the season back on track at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
