Oklahoma will meet Cincinnati for the third time in program history later this month. 

The Sooners have a 2-0 all-time record against the Bearcats and will travel to Cincinnati for the first time since 2010 and the second time ever on Sept. 23 to take on Scott Satterfield, Emory Jones and company at James Gamble Nippert Memorial Stadium. 

The 2023 matchup between the two schools will be the Bearcats first ever Big 12 contest and only conference meeting between Oklahoma and Cincinnati.

OU announced on Monday afternoon that it's contest against the Bearcats will kickoff at 11 a.m. on Fox, marking the second 11 a.m. game for the Sooners this season.

Oklahoma took down Arkansas State 73-0 in a week one matchup that kicked off at the same time before taking on SMU at 5 p.m. in week two. OU will meet Tulsa at 2:30 p.m. in week three. 

The Sooners' contest against Cincinnati will also be one of multiple Big 12 Homecoming activations and will feature a performance from James Kennedy

The Bearcats are currently 2-0 after defeating Eastern Kentucky 66-13 in week one and Pittsburgh 27-21 in week two. Following Oklahoma's trip to Cincinnati, the team will return to Norman to take on the Iowa State Cyclones on Sept. 30.
