Jenkins is a 6-6, 255-pound edge prospect from Butler County College in El Dorado, KS. He had offers from Indiana, Iowa State and Kansas before landing the OU offer on his visit.

Originally from Willowbrook, IL, Jenkins wasn’t a high-profile recruit at defensive end or tight end coming out of Neuqua Valley High School in the class of 2021 and wasn’t rated by 247 Sports or Rivals after playing just one season (2022) in junior college.
