Autry is a big, talented prospect who comes from an athletic family and has the Sooners alongside schools like Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.
In this story:

Oklahoma is among the top five schools for a talented 2024 offensive tackle from Mississippi.

And Marcus Dupree couldn’t be happier for his cousin.

Isaiah Autry, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive lineman from Itawamba Agricultural School in Tupelo, MS, dropped his top five Sunday night and likes the Sooners along with Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn and Florida State.

Autry, who’s mother Pashen Thompson-Dent played college basketball at Tennessee for Pat Summitt and won two national championships with the Vols in 1996 and 1997, visited OU on March 26, and he’ll be back — with his famous uncle — for the Sooners’ annual spring game on April 22.

“My cousin really likes OU,” Dupree told AllSooners in a recent text message.

Dupree played at OU in 1982-83 for Barry Switzer and became a Sooner legend in his freshman season with 1,144 yards rushing, 14 total touchdowns and an average of 7.8 yards per carry before leaving midway through his sophomore season. Dupree has long professed his love and admiration for Switzer and all things OU since his football career ended.
