Big 12 Releases 2023-24 Men's Basketball Schedule, Oklahoma's last in conference
The Big 12 released its 2023-24 basketball schedule Tuesday, the first as 14-team conference.
Oklahoma is playing its final season in the Big 12. The Sooners open the 18-team slate inside Lloyd Noble Center at 5 p.m. Jan. 6 against Iowa State. ESPN+ is live-streaming the matchup.
Texas, which like Oklahoma, is leaving the Big 12 for the SEC, comes to Norman on Tuesday, Jan. 23, with a 6 p.m. matchup against the Sooners. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Former OU coach Kelvin Sampson returns to Norman with the Houston Cougars on March 2 for a 7 p.m. game that will be televised on ESPN2.
The Sooners host Bedlam foe Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, with the game live-streamed on ESPN+. Kansas comes to Norman on Saturday, Feb. 17, for a 3 p.m. contest that will be televised on ESPN.
Oklahoma closes out conference play March 9 with a trip to Austin to play the Longhorns. That game will tip at 1 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship will take place March 12-16 in Kansas City inside the T-Mobile Center.
Big 12 teams will open the regular season on Nov. 6 with non-conference games. Oklahoma will open at home against Central Michigan.
