Six members of the top-ranked Oklahoma women's gymnastics team combined to capture a conference-leading 11 spots on the All-Big 12 Gymnastics team, the league announced Wednesday.

This season marks the 15th straight year that the Sooners have led the conference in All-Big 12 selections and the 14th consecutive season that the Sooners have earned at least eight spots on the All-Big 12 team.

The All-Big 12 squad consists of the conference gymnasts with the top three highest national qualifying scores (NQS) on each event in addition to the top two all-around gymnasts. The Sooners occupied at least the top two spots on all four events, including a vault sweep.

Sophomore Jordan Bowers led all honorees with five selections. Bowers is the fifth Sooner in program history to garner all five honors and the only one this season. The Lincoln, NE, native earned her second career All-Big 12 honor on vault, bars and floor, and first on beam and in the all-around. Her career total is up to eight overall.

Senior Ragan Smith is now up to seven career honors with a nod on beam and bars. This marks Smith’s third honor on beam and second on bars. Juniors Audrey Davis and Katherine LeVasseur, sophomore Danielle Sievers, and freshman Faith Torrez, each picked up honors as well. Davis earned her third consecutive accolade on bars, while LeVasseur picked up her fourth career honor with her second nod on vault. Sievers and Torrez each earned their first career recognition on vault and floor, respectively. The Sooners trio of Davis, LeVasseur and Torrez lead the conference on their respective events.

The Sooners will open the postseason on Saturday when they compete at the Big 12 Championship in Morgantown, WV. The meet, to be held at the WVU Coliseum at 6 p.m. CT, will be televised by ESPNU. Oklahoma will be vying for its 14th Big 12 championship and 13th under 17th-year head coach K.J. Kindler.

OU will host the NCAA Norman Regional from March 29-April 1 at Lloyd Noble Center. The teams will be announced during the NCAA selection show next Monday, March 20 at 11 am CT on NCAA.com. All-session tickets for the NCAA postseason event are on sale now.
