Evaluation: A feisty defensive back, Devon Jordan joins the Sooners’ 2024 class from nearby Tulsa Union. With good speed and aggressive hands in coverage, Jordan is able to run with high-level wide receivers deep down the field. Despite only being 170 pounds, Jordan is not afraid to make tackles in run defense or blow up blockers. Getting to Norman and spending time in Oklahoma’s strength and conditioning program will be important for Jordan as he looks to add weight heading into the SEC. Jordan was clocked at 10.71 in the 100-meter dash as a junior.
