Evaluation: Yet another versatile athlete on the back end, Michael Boganowski played both linebacker and safety in high school, making plays at both positions. While he will play safety at OU, Boganowski’s athletic traits and versatility make him a prime candidate to take reps at Brent Venables’ famed “Cheetah” position. Boganowski’s size and instincts make him a hard hitter in run defense and allow him to play well in the box while his speed and athleticism allow the 4-star recruit to be a solid coverage player as well.
