Oklahoma National Signing Day Player Profile: Zion Kearney

On Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, 4-star wide receiver Zion Kearney signed his NLI to play football for the Sooners.
In this story:

Hometown: Missouri City, TX

Height: 6-2

Weight: 210

Position: WR

School: Hightower High School

Evaluation: At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Zion Kearney is an athletic receiver and a big play threat down the field. With great height, weight, strength and speed, Kearney is a physical playmaker who can beat smaller defensive backs with his physicality. On deep shots, Kearney’s size and physicality are evident, as he frequently wins contested catches and breaks tackles in run-after-catch situations. At the Brent Venables Football Camp over the summer, Kearney showed a great connection with 2024 OU quarterback commit Michael Hawkins, who hit Kearney for multiple deep touchdown shots.
