NORMAN — Fall ball continued for three-time defending national champion Oklahoma on Monday night.

The Sooners routed North Central Texas in historic fashion 37-0 in an offseason scrimmage at Marita Hynes Field.

In a nine-inning exhibition game, OU pounded out 31 hits, the Sooner pitching staff threw a no-hitter, and NCTC committed 10 errors.

Quincee Lilio led the Sooners’ offensive explosion with a 6-for-6 day at the plate, including a double, a home run and six RBIs.

Hannah Coor went 4-for-6 with two doubles and three RBIs, Rylie Boone was 3-for-6 with three doubles and five RBIs, and Tiare Jennings went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs.

Among other returning starters, Kinzie Hansen was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, Jayda Coleman was 1-for-3 with a solo home run, and Alynah Torres was 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Freshman Kasidi Pickering was 3-for-6 with two doubles and three RBIs, Avery Hodge was 3-for-6 with a double and two RBIs, transfer Riley Ludlam was 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, freshman Ella Parker was 1-for-4 with two RBIs, and freshman Nelly McEnroe-Marinas went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Coor started and batted leadoff, while McEnroe-Marinas hit second. Ludlam batted cleanup behind Hansen, and Parker hit fifth.

Left hander Kierston Deal threw three innings to pick up the win. Deal faced 10 batters and struck out seven with one walk.

OU gets back to action on Wednesday night when the Sooners stage the second night of their annual intrasquad scrimmage, known as the Battle Series. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Marita Hynes Field.
