OU Softball: Five of Oklahoma's Regular Season Contests Selected for National Television

The No. 1-ranked Sooners will have five of their Big 12 contests broadcast nationally as OU chases its fourth-straight national title in 2024.

Ahead of the 2024 season, five Oklahoma softball games have been selected to be aired nationally.

ESPN picked up a pair of No. 1 OU’s battles against No. 8 Texas.

The contest between the Sooners and the Longhorns on April 5 will be broadcast on ESPNU at 5:30 p.m., and then the April 6 battle between the Red River Rivals will air on ESPN at 7 p.m.

All three Bedlam contests were also selected.

The first game of the series from Love’s Field will be broadcast on FST on May 3 at 6;30 p.m., and then ESPNU will carry the May 4 meeting at 4 p.m. and the May 5 matchup at 4 p.m.

Game 3 of the Big 12 Tournament will air on ESPNU, and the Big 12 Tournament Championship will be on ESPN 2 on May 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Patty Gasso’s Sooners will begin another national title defense in Mexico at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. OU will start the season on Feb. 8 with a pair of games, first taking on Utah Valley at 10:30 a.m. before rolling into its second contest of the day against No. 11 Duke at 1 p.m.

All of Oklahoma’s games in Mexico will broadcast on FloSoftball, as will OU’s five contests at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic from Feb. 23-25.
