OU swept the Cyclones in Ames back in March in the regular season series.

Iowa State hung tight with the Sooners in the series opener, losing 3-0. Spelhaug pitched the first 2 2/3 innings of the contest, allowing two runs on three hits, before the Cyclones made a pair of pitching changes.

As the weekend wore on, Oklahoma locked in on the Cyclone pitching staff.

The Sooners won the final two games of the series in run-rule fashion, notching 13-3 and 10-0 victories.

OU belted eight home runs across the final two wins, putting on a show for the capacity crowds in Ames.

First pitch between the Sooners and the Cyclones is set for 1 p.m. from Hall of Fame Stadium on Friday, and the winner will earn a berth in Saturday’s Big 12 Championship.
