Basketball Game Preview: Oklahoma State vs. TCU
Can the Oklahoma State Cowboys finally pick up their first Big 12 win of their conference schedule? They went 8-5 in their non-conference game, which is subpar given the conference standards, but they've shown plenty of signs of life outside of inconsistencies and late-game woes.
Now, they take on TCU -- who was ranked No. 19 a week ago before falling out of the rankings with two straight losses. As is any conference game in the Big 12, the Cowboys are up for a big test as they still search for that first upset win.
Last week, the Cowboys made a lineup change that saw them compete with Kansas State in a near-road upset win.

Truthfully, this game is a huge opportunity for the Cowboys. They're playing in their home stadium after a close battle against Kansas State on the road, which, in all honesty, could have been a win. They led for most of the second half after playing a close first half and capturing a lead before the break.
After having had the starting lineup change and playing a close game in an incredibly tough environment, the Cowboys will have a big opportunity. They need a spark as a program, and Mike Boynton has a lot to coach for as the season rolls on.
Something to watch is the starting lineup Boynton rolls out. Last game, Boynton started Connor Dow instead of Eric Dailey, as both players were able to impact the game in their respective roles a bit better in the situation.
Another storyline heading into the game is former OSU basketball player and current TCU guard Avery Anderson as he makes his return to the GIA for the first time since transferring.
