Coming off their first Big 12 win of the season, the Oklahoma State Cowboys now head to one of the hardest places to win in college basketball in the Allen Fieldhouse. They take on the No. 8 Kansas Jayhawks on the road.

For the Cowboys, picking up their first Big 12 win had to be a huge morale boost, even if they only defeated a West Virginia that is second-to-last in the Big 12.

Now, Oklahoma State hosted the Jayhawks two weeks ago in a 90-66 loss that was far from a close game. That game was in Stillwater, too, meaning things will only be more difficult for the Cowboys.

Three of the Jayhawks' four losses came on the road, and their lone home loss came early in the season against a very sound Marquette team.

Game Info:

Game time: Saturday, Jan. 30, 8:00 p.m. CT

Where: Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS

Records: OSU (9-11, 1-6), Kansas (16-4, 4-3)

Spread: Kansas -16.5

TV Channel: ESPN

Oklahoma State is a 16.5-point underdog, which checks out for a team that is 1-6 in conference play. Again, they have no easy battle heading to a hostile environment in Lawrence, facing a top-10 college basketball team.

Having given up 90 points in the last matchup, Oklahoma State's defense is going to have to be solid in this one. With the way the Cowboys turn the ball over, though, Kansas might be able to run up the score. With their home crowd behind them, the Jayhawks are going to be able to put together a big run after a big run.

To make matters worse, the Jayhawks are coming off a road loss to Iowa State. They're going to be looking to bounce back in a big way, whereas the Cowboys are just looking to pick up a second conference win.

Defensively, the two teams are in the same realm of points allowed per game, but the Kansas offense is just going to prove to be too much for Oklahoma State.
