Game Preview: Oklahoma State vs. Chicago State
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are stringing together a win streak in non-conference play. As a member of the Big 12, thriving in non-conference basketball is important. There is too much talent around the conference and a bad start to the season can derail conference play.
Luckily for the Cowboys, they're finding their stride in non-conference play as they play their final game before Big 12 play begins. They host Chicago State as they're once again steep favorites.
A big part of this game for the Cowboys will be to continue to find their identity as a unit and play balanced basketball. They've got all the talent they need to be an incredible team, but they struggled to put it together early in the season.

Again, the Cowboys are facing a potential five-game winning streak. They're once again large favorites, as they were last game against South Carolina State. While they didn't cover, they came away with an eventual good game.
In this one, it'll be important for Oklahoma State to establish themselves early on both ends. If they continue to have a turnover problem, they won't be able to get in a rhythm on either side of the floor early.
With one final chance to capture more momentum before they take on No. 18 Baylor on Saturday, Oklahoma State will have to start the game out as the aggressors and try and jump on the Cougars.
In every main category, the Cowboys are better statistically than the Cougars and the Cougars are on a four-game losing streak.
All things considered, this should be another win for the Cowboys and they should advance to 8-5 on the season.
