It was another successful week for Oklahoma State football. First, the Pokes knocked off No. 24 Kansas State in dominating fashion and then the former Pokes in the NFL played very well this weekend.

Linebacker Justin Phillips got the call up earlier this week to the Oakland 53-man roster due to injuries at linebacker. While he didn't record any stats this weekend against Indianapolis, Phillips is set to see a lot more action this season with linebacker Vontaze Burfict suspended for the rest of the season following a vicious head-to-head hit on Jack Doyle.

Quarterback Mason Rudolph and the Pittsburgh Steelers easily handled the Cincinnati Bengals 27-3 and Rudolph was brilliant. He went 24 of 28 for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
