The Oklahoma State Cowboys, along with the Big 12, are in a weird situation right now. Simply winning out is the best thing they can do, though there are plenty of matchups around the conference with implications this weekend.

Here is how the All Pokes staff picked each Big 12 matchup against the spread for Week 12.

Oklahoma State (-7) vs. Houston

Nick Friesen: Oklahoma State did get embarrassed last week, but it will bounce back against Houston. The Cougars have been inconsistent on defense, especially rushing defense. Ollie Gordon will get whatever he wants on Saturday. OSU -7

Ivan White: Oklahoma State’s Big 12 title or Houston’s bowl hopes are gone after this game. With their backs against the wall, the Cowboys lean back into their identity to grab their final road game this season. OSU -7

Kade Kimble: The Cowboys should be able to bounce back in a big way on the road. Playing at full strength and getting back to their identity, Oklahoma State will be able to make a statement as they head into the final game of the season with a very solid chance to make the Big 12 Championship game. OSU -7

Oklahoma (-24) vs. BYU

Nick: Oklahoma will win this game, but it will be close. BYU has shown to be a competitive team in this conference, and they will be no walk in the park on Saturday. The Sooners will take this, but BYU will cover the spread. BYU +24

Ivan: BYU has had an up-and-down season and may make an upset bid against Oklahoma. But the very early start in Provo helps the Sooners get out with a close win. BYU +24

Kade: The Sooners flipped the page against West Virginia a week ago. Traveling to Provo will be no easy task, but the offense found its life and was able to blow out the Mountaineers. Expect the Sooners to be able to do so again and allow their young talent to develop even more. OU -24

Cincinnati vs. West Virginia (-6.5)

Nick: West Virginia has been the more consistent team this season. Cincinnati looked like a team that had given up on the rest of the season. West Virginia is going to take this one. WVU - 6.5

Ivan: The Mountaineers get back on track after a blowout loss to OU. Cincinnati fails to keep this one competitive. WVU -6.5

Kade: This one is huge for the mountaineers to bounce back after being blown out a week ago. They've got something to prove after starting the season hot and slowing down as of late, and they'll do just that. WVU -6.5

Baylor vs. TCU (-13)

Nick: Another one of these games where it can go either way. Both teams haven't found their identity yet this season. TCU has shown some good things this season, So the Horn Frogs will take this one. TCU -13

Ivan: TCU is much better than its 4-6 record with four one-possession losses. While a big win against Baylor will help them this week, the Horned Frogs making a bowl game still looks like a long shot. TCU -13

Kade: This game is a toss-up. TCU is looking to win out and become bowl-eligible, whereas Baylor has lost those chances. While the Horned Frogs might be able to get one step closer to that being reality, it won't be easy. Baylor +13

UCF vs. Texas Tech (-2.5)

Nick: UCF is starting to figure out what it wants to be on offense now that John Rhys Plumlee is healthy. Texas Tech is coming off an impressive win against Kansas. With both teams having statement wins last week, this is going to be a close game. UCF thrives in close games, so the Knights will take this one. UCF +2.5

Ivan: The Knights have turned a corner this season after grabbing back-to-back wins. UCF keeps it going against Texas Tech and may finish on a four-game win streak. UCF +2.5

Kade: UCF dominated an Oklahoma State team with Big 12 title hopes this season a week ago. Their elite receivers along with a fast offense that can dominate on the ground showed out, and their defense made all the right plays. They've seemed to turn a corner and will continue to show that in a win over Texas Tech. UCF +2.5

Kansas State (-8) vs. Kansas

Nick: What an atmosphere it will be in Lawrence on Saturday. Kansas State has looked unstoppable some weeks, but when they play the top teams in the conference, they struggle to get anything going. Kansas is coming off a disappointing loss to Texas Tech, but the Jayhawks will be ready for this game. The Wildcats will win, but it will be a close one. Kansas +8

Ivan: As much as Kansas needs this game, uncertainty at quarterback makes it almost impossible to pick the Jayhawks. The Wildcats win a 15th straight against their in-state rival. Kansas State -8

Kade: The Jayhawks certainly don't have a good history in this game, nor did they against Oklahoma, where they upset one of the top teams in the nation. In Lawrence for another huge game, the Jayhawks keep their incredible season going with another upset win. Kansas +8

Texas (-7.5) vs. Iowa State

Nick: They are the more talented team. It’s going to be difficult on Saturday at Ames, but the talent on offense will get it done for Texas. Texas -7.5

Ivan: A night game in Ames in November is a dangerous place for a national title contender to play. Texas gets out with a win, but Iowa State will have a shot to win in the final minutes. Iowa State +7.5

Kade: Texas is playing for a lot this season. They've been a laughing stock for some time now, but they're a true title-hopeful team and control their destiny as the lone team atop the Big 12. Iowa State is notorious for being the team to upset teams and shake up the Big 12, but the Longhorns will be able to fend that off and keep their title hopes alive. Texas -7.5
