STILLWATER -- We're just getting into Big 12 Conference play for Cowboy football, but that doesn't mean that we can't get excited, or talk about basketball season.

Yesterday, Oklahoma State announced their Big 12 Conference schedule which feature multiple Big Monday games, as well as other several key match ups on prime time TV.

Now Oklahoma State fans will get their chance at an early look at both the Cowboys and Cowgirls as both programs are holding open practices on the main floor of Gallagher-Iba Arena on the morning of the Oklahoma State-Kansas State football game on Sept. 28. Kick off for that game will be at 6 p.m. in Boone Pickens Stadium.

The Cowgirls will begin their practice at 11:30 a.m. and the Cowboys will hit the floor around 12:30 p.m. with an autograph and selfie session immediately following the practice around 1:30 p.m.

There will also be concessions available for fans as they'll sell pizza, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels and candy as well as drinks.

The Athletic Department is asking that fans enter GIA through the East Lobby, as there will be available seating on the East side of the court's 100 level. Also, the North, west and South lobbies, as well as Heritage Hall will be closed to fans due to the football game day and standard game day parking rules will also be in effect.

Oklahoma State Athletics Media Relations provided the following information.

All-American Vivian Gray returns for her junior season to a talented Cowgirls squad that added the likes of NJCAA National Player of the Year, Natasha Mack, and 2019 Canadian Player of the Year, Micah Dennis.

The Cowboys return all five starters, including 78 percent of their scoring, and have been joined by a top-25 recruiting class that includes Avery Anderson III, Kalib Boone, Keylan Boone, Chris Harris, grad transfer Jonathan Laurent, Hidde Roessink and Marcus Watson.
