Pokes in the NFL: Week 7
STILLWATER -- If you follow along with the former Oklahoma State football players in the NFL, then you probably had a great time watching the NFL this week.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a bye this week, so Mason Rudolph was back in Stillwater celebrating Homecoming with Emmanuel Ogbah, who we're going to start with.
Ogbah and the Chiefs played the Thursday night game last week, that's how he was able to be back in Stillwater for the festivities. The Chiefs easily took care of the Broncos in Denver 30-6. Ogbah finished the game with three solo stops, one of which was a sack, bringing him to 3.5 sacks on the season, which leads the team.
Receiver Tyreek Hill led the Chiefs in receiving yards against the Broncos as he finished with three receptions on five targets for 74 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs play host to Green Bay this week in the Sunday night game on NBC. Kickoff is slated for 7:20 p.m.
The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Detroit and beat the Lions 42-30. Kicker Dan Bailey missed his long field goal attempt, but was 6-for-6 on extra points.
The Vikings play host to the Washington Redskins on Thursday night this week. Kickoff is slated for 7:20 p.m. on FOX.
The Oakland Raiders fell to Green Bay, but Marcell Ateman and Justin Phillips played well. Ateman was third on the team in receiving yards with one reception for 36-yards. As for Phillips, he recorded six total tackles, three of which were solo stops.
Oakland travels to Houston this week to face the Texans for a 3:25 p.m. kick on CBS.
The Arizona Cardinals squeaked out a 27-21 win over the New York Giants this past weekend. Defensive back Kevin Peterson recorded one tackle in the win. Arizona will travel to New Orleans to face the Saints for a noon kickoff on CBS.
The Baltimore Ravens beat the Seattle Seahawks 30-16 this past Sunday. While Justice Hill didn't record any stats for the Ravens, Chris Carson led the Seahawks in rushing with 21 carries for 65 yards and Tre Flowers recorded five total tackles, four of which were solo stops and defended one pass.
Baltimore has an open week this week, but the Seahawks travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons for a noon kick on FOX.
The Dallas Cowboys trounced the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night 37-10 in Dallas. Tight end Blake Jarwin had just one reception for one yard, but it was for a touchdown, his second of the season. Dallas also has an open week this week.
