The Oklahoma State Cowboys took down Houston 43-30 to put themselves in control of their Big 12 Championship game destiny, sort of. They've got to take down BYU at home next Saturday and the most realistic and easiest scenario sees Texas taking down Texas Tech.

After the win over Houston, Oklahoma State's game time for the Senior Day matchup was released. They will play at 2:30 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on ABC.

As mentioned, this will be Senior Day. The Cowboys' regular season finale is also the final home game of the season, which will cap off a full season of sold-out crowds. The support behind the team matches a season that has turned around, and it's going to pay off for the fans. The same team that they watched drop a game to South Alabama at home is the one that they'll watch play in Boone Pickens Stadium one final time this season while looking to find their way to Arlington.

Again, Oklahoma State is coming off a win against Houston. They started the game off incredibly slow, but when they started to get going, they dominated the game. After the tough loss to UCF over a week ago, it had to have been good for the Cowboys to regain momentum.

Now, they'll bring that momentum back to Stillwater for one last matchup in the regular season.

For BYU, they hosted Oklahoma in Provo in a game that wasn't projected to be close. With a solid start, the Cougars played the Sooners well as they began to run the ball incredibly well -- something they haven't been able to do this season.

Though they lost, BYU has to have a certain level of confidence boost after playing the Sooners so close.

There's a good chance the Cowboys get a bit of pushback from BYU next Saturday and get to sweat a matchup that could help lift them to Arlington for a conference championship game.
