How to Watch Oklahoma State and South Alabama: Kickoff Time, TV Channel and Odds
After a 2-0 start to the college football season, Oklahoma State is set to face South Alabama to finish their non-conference games for the season. The two teams have faced off twice in history, with Oklahoma State coming away with both games pretty handily.
Kane Wommack and the Jaguars had an impressive 10-3 season last year, in the head coach's second season with the team. They've got some familiarity as they're playing with Carter Bradley under center, who led them to the breakout season last year.
This is a much different program than the Cowboys saw in 2017 and 2018, the two years when Oklahoma State took down South Alabama. In fact, the Jaguar's breakout last year has the Cowboys on upset watch ahead of this weekend.
As the Cowboys continue rotating three quarterbacks, there's potential for an issue to rise, but hasn't yet been a problem. Garret Rangel's first drive saw a three-and-out before following up with an impressive drive in Week 2 against Arizona State. Jumping in the game with no momentum under his belt couldn't have been an easy position, and it's the problem the Cowboys could face again.
However, this could be the last chance for each quarterback to make their case ahead of Big 12 play. Soon, the team will need a starting quarterback to work with to provide consistency for the entire offense.
The Cowboys' defense looked much improved in the second half of the matchup against Arizona State. If they can replicate that, they should be able to head into Week 4 with a 3-0 record.
