Injury Report: Oklahoma State vs. South Alabama
Oklahoma State is hosting South Alabama in Week 3 to cap off non-conference play. Next week, the Cowboys take on Iowa State, so they'll get one final chance to work out the kinks in the team before conference play begins.
According to the OSU Cowboys Radio Network, Alan Bowman is getting the start against the Jaguars. Gunnar Gundy could be the first relief quarterback with Garret Rangel taking the final shift under center.
One area of the game to look at is the offensive line and how they perform in a game that's anticipated to be the Cowboys' most physical one yet.
For the Week 3 matchup, here is relevant injury news:
- Right tackle Jake Springfield went through stretches in uniform. He missed the Arizona State matchup after being injured in the season opener. According to Marshall Scott, Springfield is warming up behind Dalton Cooper in the right tackle line. Springfield could add some good depth today if the offensive line gets off to a rough or slow start.
- Justin Wright, transfer linebacker from Tulsa, remains out until Week 5 against Kansas State, as announced on his Twitter/X following the injury.
Stay tuned for updates ahead of kickoff.
