Oklahoma State Depth Chart for Baylor
STILLWATER -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys are coming out of a much-needed off week and will be looking to continue preparations for the Homecoming game this weekend against the undefeated Baylor Bears.
This is a big game for Oklahoma State as their last game was the 45-35 loss to Texas Tech and Baylor is coming off a 33-30 win over Tech.
Baylor enters this weekend 6-0 on the season and ranked No. 18 in the country. Despite that, ESPN's Football Power Index still gives Oklahoma State a 60 percent chance of winning
"[Baylor's 6-0 to start with, obviously it's not easy to get to 6-0," said Mike Gundy. "You're seeing a quarterback in his third year; he's matured, he's playing really well, doesn't make a lot of mistakes. Defensively, they've got good edge pressure. Guys are getting up the field and pressuring. The nose guard's a big guy, he's disruptive in the run game and they're multiple on the back end. They're doing some blitzing and they've matured. They've been good down there for quite a while. They had a couple of tough years when all the issues were going on down there, but they've still recruited good, they're in a good location geographically to recruit and they've had good players there. I think [Matt Rhule] does a nice job of coaching them and they've done a nice job. I think the best way to sum it up is they're 6-0. No matter how you get to that point, it's a good accomplishment."
Oklahoma State and Baylor face off on FOX this Saturday for Homecoming. The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. and will feature Tim Brando, Spencer Tillman and Coley Harvey on the call.
