Oklahoma State Football Receives Commitment From Former Arizona State Offensive Lineman
The Oklahoma State Cowboys offensive line continues to get better and better as the offseason continues. They landed Arizona State transfer offensive lineman Isaiah Glass.
The transfer portal has been much, much more beneficial for Mike Gundy and the Cowboys this year than it was last year. After making the Big 12 title game, it seems the Cowboys are gearing up to make a push at the conference title as the conference enters a new era.
While the Cowboys underwent a season turnaround, a big part of it was simplifying the game plan and establishing an identity. A big part of that claimed identity was having a stout offensive line. They helped lift Ollie Gordon into becoming the nation's leading rusher while constantly providing good protection for Alan Bowman under center.
Adding Glass to the mix in Stillwater only continues to add depth and talent to the offensive line room. The Arizona State transfer announced his intent to join the portal early in the season, as the Sun Devils had played just nine games before Glass announced his plan to redshirt and enter the portal.
The lineman has two years of eligibility remaining and will be able to make a big contribution to an offensive line that hopes to be blocking for Ollie Gordon, who has yet to announce whether he will be returning to Stillwater or not.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman is an Arizona native who had 15 career starts for the Sun Devils. In his time with Arizona State, he saw plenty of coaching changes and not too much consistency, which he can expect the opposite of in Stillwater.
Glass will have the opportunity to see his former team next season as Arizona State -- in their first year in the Big 12 -- will travel to Stillwater to take on the Cowboys.
