Oklahoma State unveiled new uniforms in the offseason, and this week, it will don a new combination of those threads.

The Cowboys will go for a lot of orange on the field this week. With the black brand helmet to match, they’ll run with orange jerseys and orange pants.

It will be the second appearance of the year for both the orange jerseys and orange pants. After two weeks of white helmets, OSU will wear black helmets for the first time with the new uniforms.

South Alabama will be sporting a white and red look. The helmet with script on one side and a Jaguar on the other should be a nice look for the evening kickoff.

This is the Cowboys’ third different uniform combo of the season, and it is likely to be their third different quarterback rotation. Perhaps this is the week where one of Alan Bowman, Gunnar Gundy or Garret Rangel can win the starting job.

To do so, they’ll need to step up against a pesky South Alabama team. The Jaguars' defense finished last season allowing the fifth-fewest rushing yards per game, making the OSU passing game a critical part of its ability to win.

Both teams should look good in a literal sense, but only time will tell who will look good on the scoreboard.
