Oklahoma State Depth Chart for Texas Tech

Oklahoma State's depth chart announced for their game against Texas Tech

STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State is set to face Texas Tech this Saturday after coming off a great conference win over Kansas State. Prior to kickoff against K-State, there were a few adjustments made to the depth chart as the Pokes were without starting tackles Dylan Galloway and Teven Jenkins.

With that came virtually an entire shift: Bryce Bray to left tackle, Ry Schneider to center, Johnny Wilson to right guard and Hunter Anthony got his first career-start as he replaced Jenkins at right tackle.

It appears that that's going to be the case again as the depth chart for the Texas Tech game was released on Monday.

Going through the rest of the depth chart, it doesn't appear that there are too many changes heading into Saturday. Defensive end Tyler Lacy is still listed as the starter despite having missed the game against Kansas State.

We also much more action from linebacker Devin Harper who spent the first three games of the season on the sideline with an injury. Harper finished the K-State game tied for third on the team with five tackles against the Wildcats.

But Oklahoma State is going to have to prepare for the Red Raiders much differently than they did against Kansas State. They'll be facing an offense that is vastly different in that they start plays just about as fast as anyone in the country and they love to throw the ball around.

Good news is that Oklahoma State ranks higher in just about every team statistical category than Texas Tech. However, you can't just expect that to get you through. The Pokes had great success against a Kansas State team that started the season really hot and because of that, they're riding high.

Texas Tech came into Stillwater last year and thumped OSU while the Pokes were riding high after a win over a tough Boise State team.

"We're onto a new group this week, obviously, a completely new style of play," said Gundy. "They're very fast-paced spread attack for our defense, so we have to make adjustments as we move forward."
