Tracker: Oklahoma State Football Transfer Portal Moves
The college football transfer portal is one of the most hectic parts of the calendar year for college football. After the seasons, loads of players -- for one reason or another -- decide it's time for them to hit the transfer portal.
With the portal opening on Dec. 3, players have 30 days -- until Jan. 1, 2024 -- to enter the portal and have immediate eligibility. Players can enter the portal outside of that "window," but they'll have to sit out a year.
Sure, players can return to the school they're transferring from if they so choose, but oftentimes, they entered the portal for a reason.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys were impacted by the portal in a big way last season. They saw 20 outgoing players, bringing in 13 new players and essentially cleaning out the house and re-establishing a culture.
With the way the season went, it was essentially addition by subtraction as the Cowboys were able to string together a solid season after a shaky start.
It's hard to imagine Mike Gundy and the Cowboys aren't ready to embrace the rapid changes that come with the transfer portal, and they'll be active in bringing in players if a situation like last season happens again.

*This list will be updated as news is released*
Outgoing:
Ladarius Webb Jr., Safety: After the Cowboys lost to the Longhorns in the Big 12 Championship, Webb announced his departure. He didn't travel with the team but had an arrangement with the coaches to not announce his portal entry until after the game.
Ricky Lolohea, DL: After not having been with the team since August, the freshman defensive lineman has entered the transfer portal with four years of eligibility remaining.
Gunnar Gundy, Quarterback: The son of Mike Gundy enters the transfer portal as a grad transfer. With offers from Toledo and Eastern Michigan out of high school, Gundy will be able to find a new school to shine a bit on his own, out of his dad's spotlight.
Blaine Green, Wide Receiver: The sophomore receiver missed the entirety of the 2022 football season with an injury but totaled 416 receiving yards on 34 receptions in his two seasons played with the Cowboys.
Jaden Bray, Wide Receiver: This move hits the Cowboys a little harder than the rest of them. Bray emerged as an incredible target for Alan Bowman this past season. He's totaled 686 receiving yards on 48 catches for four touchdowns in his Oklahoma State career.
Viliami Makahununiu, OL: With four starting offensive linemen returning, it'll be hard for linemen toward the bottom of the depth chart to climb to any more snaps or playing time. It makes sense for the redshirt freshman to try and take his talents to a program where he can continue to develop while earning some playing time.
