The Oklahoma State Cowboys have had a season turnaround that can be understood when looking at how they started games. When they were barely squeaking out wins or losing games, they started slow. In the recent win streak? All three games were started quickly.

Against the Cincinnati Bearcats, who were the team that had to face the Cowboys for homecoming in Stillwater, the Cowboys started quickly. Ollie Gordon did his thing to pick up a quick first, and with the gravity he has offensively, the Cowboys were able to go deep.

On a play-action pass, Alan Bowman connected with Josiah Johnson for a 29-yard touchdown in the air.

It's good to see the Cowboys hit the passing game quickly as the temperature and moisture don't exactly favor that. With a lead, the Cowboys will have a chance to play from ahead in this one.

It'll be interesting to see how much of an impact the passing game is as the Cowboys are thin at the wide receiver position in this one.
