As Oklahoma State takes on West Virginia on the road, takeaways have been crucial for the Cowboys. Kendal Daniels has forced and recovered a fumble, which stopped a drive that saw Brennan Presley muff a punt. After they drove for a field goal, the defense showed up again.

After Korie Black intercepted the ball, the Cowboys had some incredible field position. Driving 39 yards, the Cowboys got solid contributions from Talyn Shettron, but it was ultimately Ollie Gordon who punched home the touchdown.

Early in this game, Gordon has already made a big impact, piggybacking off a few huge weeks for the Cowboys. With time remaining in the first quarter, Gordon has 53 rushing yards on six carries and, now, a touchdown. He's going to continue to be a focal point offensively in this matchup.

For the rest of the offense, Alan Bowman is distributing the ball to playmakers in short plays, taking the safe route and letting playmakers do the work. Continuing to build long offensive drives will be huge for the Cowboys, who have seen some incredible work defensively.
