WATCH: Rashod Owens Reels in Touchdown Pass From Alan Bowman Against Texas

The Oklahoma State Cowboys don't look suited to upset the Longhorns for the Big 12 title, but they won't stop fighting.

Heading into the Big 12 title game, the Oklahoma State Cowboys were two-score underdogs to the Texas Longhorns. Early on, the Longhorns proved just why that was the case. They started things up by dissecting the Cowboys' defense to get off to a 14-0 lead.

Kasey Dunn and the Cowboys offense responded in a big way, but the defense couldn't get a stop. The Longhorns kept their foot on the gas pedal as they expanded their lead to 28-7 with the possession to push their lead to 35-7.

Before they could score their fifth touchdown of the game, though, Nick Martin intercepted Quinn Ewers to set the Cowboys up in big scoring position.

The forced turnover led to great field position for the Cowboys, which was converted on as Alan Bowman found Rashod Owens in the end zone to trim the Longhorns' lead once again.

Trailing 28-14, the pressure still falls on the defense to continue making plays. They can't solely rely on turnovers to get off the field and they'll have to find a way to slow down Ewers and the Longhorns.
