Who has Oklahoma State Offered so Far in The Transfer Portal?
With the transfer portal in full swing, we have seen a lot of key additions and departures for a multitude of teams.
With departures from key position groups, Oklahoma State has offered several players so far, including a defensive lineman from an old rival in the conference.
DL Reggie Grimes – Oklahoma
Grimes didn’t see a ton of action this season for the Sooners. He played in only four games for the Sooners, collecting two tackles on the season.
In his four seasons at Oklahoma, Grimes recorded 43 tackles, including 7.5 sacks. His 2022 season was his best, for he had 18 tackles and 4.5 sacks, including 7.5 tackles for loss.
If the Cowboys could pick up Grimes, he would provide some much-needed depth on the defensive line.
S Kobe Savage – Kansas State
An All-Big 12 Second-Team selection in 2022, Savage has been a staple in the secondary for Kansas State.
Savage collected 122 tackles in his two seasons at Kansas State, including 7.5 tackles for loss and six interceptions.
His best season was this year, when he recorded 57 tackles and tied the team lead with three interceptions. He would be a nice secondary addition for the Cowboys.
OL Devon Manuel – Arkansas
With four offensive linemen already returning for OSU in 2024, Manuel would provide some depth along the offensive line.
Manuel appeared in nine games for Arkansas this season, including starting in four of those games.
Injuries were an issue when he was with the Razorbacks, so he is looking for a fresh start wherever he goes.
Depth is key, especially on the offensive line, and Manuel could provide that for Oklahoma State.
DB Kobe Hylton – UTEP
Another secondary player that the Cowboys could get.
Hylton has been efficient in his past two seasons at UTEP. He has 145 tackles in those two seasons, including 10.5 tackles for loss.
In 2022, Hylton had 91 tackles and 10 tackles for loss. Hylton would be a big help along the secondary for OSU.
DL Syrus Webster – Utah Tech
Webster was a force for Utah State this season, collecting 79 tackles and seven sacks. For his career, Webster has totaled 161 tackles, including 14.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss.
Webster has some familiarity with a player at OSU, for he played with Cowboy defensive tackle Justin Kirkland at Utah Tech.
