While a bitter rivalry will see its final installment next week, College GameDay will not be making the trip to Stillwater.

ESPN’s premier college football show will not come to Oklahoma State next week for the Cowboys’ game against Oklahoma. Instead, GameDay will be in Tuscaloosa next week for the Alabama-LSU matchup.

Bedlam has been the site of GameDay multiple times in the past, as the 2017 rivalry matchup marks the most recent appearance of the show in Stillwater. OSU great Thurman Thomas joined the GameDay crew as the guest picker for that week.

With OU moving to the SEC beginning next season, the Bedlam rivalry will come to an end, at least in the regular season, for a number of years. While other sports, like wrestling, may continue the rivalry, this will be the last football matchup in a series that has been played for well over a century.

While GameDay will not be in Stillwater, it will be a critical game that could decide who makes the Big 12 title game in December. The Cowboys will hope to pull an upset over the Sooners and end the Bedlam series on a high note.

OU won the rivalry in 2022, but OSU won its most recent home game in 2021. Still, the game will receive much national attention as Ollie Gordon and company look to make a statement against their biggest rivals one last time.
