After back-to-back losses, the Oklahoma State Cowboys look to rebound Saturday with a tough matchup against a conference opponent in West Virginia.

Here is the live game thread:

Score: West Virginia 31, Oklahoma State 7

3Q:

Both teams failed to find offensive rhythm in the third quarter, seeing several drives stalled by nice defensive plays.

2Q:

To start the second quarter, Marchiol engineered another long drive, against mostly on the ground, to put the Mountaineers up 17-0. It was a 6-play, 63-yard drive culminating in a Jahiem White touchdown.

Cale Cabbiness set up the Cowboys in plus territory with a long kickoff return, and the Cowboys switched to an up tempo offense to find their first success of the day. Right when they found cadence, though, Bowman through his first interception of the year.

Greene made his return to the game on the next drive, helping his squad to another 8-play, 87-yard drive, capping it off with a self-score on the ground to make it 24-0.

Oklahoma State finally saw success with just minutes remaining in the half, with Bowman and star WR Brennan Presley connecting for a first down to set up the team’s longest drive of the game. Gordon saw a few successful runs, and the drive ended with a Rashod Owens touchdown.

CJ Donaldson Jr. tacked on the final score of the half with a 15-yard touchdown run featuring a Sunday-worthy stiff-arm.

1Q:

West Virginia put together a strong, lengthy drive to open the game, primarily highlighted by WVU quarterback Garrett Greene's keen decision-making. The Cowboys were able to bow up late in the drive, forcing a 4th-and-14 and eventual Mountaineers kick to make it 3-0.

OSU picked up a first down with consecutive Ollie Gordon rushing plays, but stalled out shortly after on its first pass attempt.

After ripping off a 39-yard run to set up the Mountaineers deep in Cowboy territory, Greene came up favoring his right shoulder, and promptly exited the game. Sophomore Nicco Marchiol came in for Greene, and was able to pick up where he left off, throwing a 10-yard touchdown on his very first attempt to put the Mountaineers up 10-0.
