Oklahoma State Opens as Underdog Against Oklahoma

Oklahoma State is the underdog heading into the final bedlam.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have now won four straight games after taking care of the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday.

Now, the Cowboys will look to keep it rolling next Saturday when it takes on the Oklahoma Sooners. The Cowboys are 6-point underdogs against the Sooners, making it five of the last six weeks Oklahoma State has been underdogs.

The game will be played at 2:30 p.m. inside Boone Pickens Stadium. It will mark as the last matchup between the two teams for the foreseeable future as Oklahoma is moving to the Southeastern Conference next season.

OSU is on fire since its loss to Iowa State, and it is all thanks to Ollie Gordon.

The sophomore running back has 1,087 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. His 271 yards on Saturday against Cincinnati made him the leading rusher in the country.

Gordon now has five straight games with over 100 rushing yards, including two straight games with over 250 rushing yards. Gordon has racked up 978 yards in the last five games, compared to only 109 yards in the first three games.

Oklahoma is looking to bounce back after suffering a loss to the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday. The Sooners struggled to stop the run as they gave up 225 rushing yards against the Jayhawks.

The Cowboys will come ready to play, for this is the last game against the Sooners. The defense will have a chance to make some noise against Dillion Gabriel and the high-powered Oklahoma offense.

With a win, Oklahoma State would put themselves in great position in the next three regular season games and possibly the Big 12 Championship game. Gordon and the Cowboys will have to fire on all cylinders against the Sooners.
