After a victory in the final chapter of Bedlam, Oklahoma State is looking to turn to the next game.

That next game is against the UCF Knights on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at UCF. It will be the first time the Cowboys are on the road against one of the new Big 12 teams.

UCF (4-5) comes into this game with a strong rushing attack. The Knights are fourth in the country in rushing offense, averaging over 227 rushing yards per game.

OSU head coach Mike Gundy said that his team knows what lies ahead of them on Saturday against UCF.

“They know they’re playing a team that is number one in the league in offense,” Gundy said. “They are averaging 5.7 yards per rush. How ‘bout this, they are 50% on third-down conversion.”

RJ Harvey leads the UCF offense as he has collected over 800 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns this season. He is ranked 21st in the country averaging just over 97 rushing yards per game.

Oklahoma State (7-2) will counter that with a defense that has been creating turnovers. OSU snagged three turnovers in the win on Saturday, including two fumble recoveries in the game against the Sooners.

On defense, UCF is simple and straightforward, and Mike Gundy said the Knights will bring more than what is expected to stop the run.

“They are a 4-2 and want to play man coverage,” Gundy said. “If there is supposed to be six in the box, they are going to put seven in the box. They’ll put a guy in the middle of the field and play man coverage.”

Ollie Gordon will look to break the UCF defense as he has six straight games with over 100 rushing yards. His 12 rushing touchdowns are good for fifth in the country.

Gordon and OSU will look to make it six straight wins on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPN.
