Oklahoma State is back in the top five.

After a stint on Friday where the Cowgirls went 2-0 on the day, Oklahoma State comes in as the No. 4-ranked team in the latest DI Softball poll.

The Cowgirls were dominant all week, especially on Friday, After collecting two wins last Tuesday against South Dakota State, Oklahoma State secured two more victories on Friday with a 4-1 victory over Seattle and a 13-1 win over Drake.

OSU moves to 17-2 on the season, collecting 11-straight victories since its loss to LSU in the Clearwater Invitational. 

Another notable shakeup in the poll is Oklahoma, who is No. 2 following its shocking loss to Louisanna, ending a 71-game winning streak for the Sooners.

Texas moves up into the top spot after going 4-0 on the weekend, including three run-rule victories.

The final Big 12 team in the standings is Baylor, who comes in at No. 10 in the latest rankings. 

OSU takes on Baylor on Friday-Sunday at Waco in its conference opener, with all three contests being streamed on ESPN+.

Pitching was the main story this past week, especially on Friday. OSU threw out four different pitchers between the two games, and it gave up two runs on eight hits with 10 strikeouts in those two games.

Ivy Rosenberry continued her stellar run in non-conference play, giving up one run on three hits, with two walks and five strikeouts in four innings of work against Drake.

The bats have come alive as well as eight Cowgirls are batting over .300 on the season, including Claire Timm and Rosie Davis hitting over .400 so far this season.

Before OSU heads to Waco on Friday, it has a midweek date with Wichita State on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.
