OSU Softball: Cowgirls Continue to Climb Most Polls

After a series sweep over Houston, where does Oklahoma State find themselves in the latest rankings?

Oklahoma State has shifted in the rankings once again. 

The Cowgirls swept Houston this past weekend, and they are now the No.2-ranked team in the conference. 

OSU heads to Iowa State this weekend, but new top 25 rankings have come out this week. Where did the Cowgirls land?

USA Softball/ESPN.COM – No. 5

OSU moved up one spot in the latest USA Softball/ESPN.COM Top 25 poll, joining the top five once again this season. 

Texas moved into the top spot of the rankings after taking the series against Oklahoma this past weekend. 

Duke slid up one spot to No. 3 in the rankings, while Tennessee stayed put as the No. 4-ranked team in the rankings.

D1 Softball – No. 4

The Cowgirls fell one spot in the latest D1 Softball poll.

Texas moved into the top spot in the rankings after being the No. 4-ranked team last week, jumping OSU and Stanford. Oklahoma fell one spot and is now the No. 2-ranked team in the country.

Softball America – No. 3

OSU moved up one spot in the latest Softball America Top 25 Poll.

Duke took the top spot in the latest rankings, and the Sooners followed them at No. 2. Texas came in at No. 4, while Tennessee rounded out the top five.

USA Today/NFCA Coaches –No. 5

Oklahoma State moved up two spots, and it received a first place vote in the latest NFCA Coaches Poll.

Oklahoma stayed put as the No. 1-ranked team in country, while Texas sat right behind as the No. 2-ranked team in the country.
