OSU Softball: Where Are The Cowgirls In The Rankings?

Coming off a series victory over the Texas Longhorns, where do the Cowgirls find themselves in the top 25 polls?

Oklahoma State took care of business last weekend against Texas. The Cowgirls secured the series over the Longhorns on Sunday behind a complete-game shutout from Lexi Kilfoyl. 

After the series, OSU has posted a 29-6 record, including 9-3 in conference play this season.

Before the Cowgirls hit the road to take on North Texas on Wednesday, where did Oklahoma State find itself in the latest top 25 polls.

USA Softball/ESPN.COM: No. 6

OSU moved up four spots in the latest edition of the USA Softball/ESPN.COM Top 25 Poll. 

Oklahoma is still at the top, with Duke at No. 2 and Georgia as the No. 3-ranked team in the country. 

Texas falls to No. 5, but it is still in front of the Cowgirls, even though Oklahoma State took the series over the weekend. 

D1 Softball: No. 3 

OSU moves the six spots to the No. 3-ranked team in the country in the latest D1 Softball Poll, the biggest jump any team made this week. 

OU stays atop as the No. 1-ranked team, while Stanford climbs up one spot to the No. 2-ranked team in the country. 

Texas falls to the No. 4-ranked team in the country, and Duke rounds out the top five in the latest D1 Softball Rankings. 

USA Today/NFCA Coaches: No. 7 

OSU moved up only one spot in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll. 

Oklahoma, Duke and Georgia fell inside the top 3, and Texas comes in as the No. 4-ranked team in the country. 

Softball America: No. 4

The Cowgirls move up three spots in the latest Softball America Poll. 

OU sits as the No. 1-ranked team in the country, and Duke jumps up two spots in the No. 2-ranked team in the country. 

Texas fell four spots to the No. 6-ranked team in the country.
